Adobe RAW problem

Open Problem:

On Heraclio, CR2 files from the rebel xt (350D) will not open in student account. The Adobe RAW plugin is v.5.2, which should support this camera.
Further, I was able to log in as Admin and it works fine.
When I log in as LabAsst, it does not work.
